We are a group of local volunteers that support the Plattekill Public Library in its efforts in offering quality and fun programs to the local community. We provide financial support for things that are beyond the parameters the library’s budget. We do this by offering our time and talents to assist with library programs, or we sponsor fundraising activities.

As stated in our by-laws:

Our mission is to develop, maintain, and foster an association of persons interested in excellent library service. We support the library in its continuing efforts to serve the people of the region by:

· increasing public awareness of the library and its services;

· fundraising for equipment and building needs;

· supporting library programs;

· advocating for the library annual budge vote;

· securing materials that are beyond the command of the ordinary library budget; and

· performing other services deemed helpful to the library.
