We offer a
variety of memberships so anyone can join us at any level and feel satisfied
they are making a difference in their community by helping the library. The
categories are as follows:
“Helping Hand” – This individual member does not pay
a fee, but agrees to help out the Friends at least three times a year. Such
help can include staffing an event, baking for a bake sale, or providing some
other type of support service.
“Fine Friend” - This individual member agrees to
make a donation of a $5 minimum, per year, to the Friends.
“Friendly Family” – This is a family membership and
the family agrees to make a $25 (or more) yearly donation to the Friends.
“Business Buddy” - This is a business membership and
the business agrees to make a $50 (or more) in financial, product, or service
as a yearly donation to the Friends.
Note that each of these memberships
comes with one vote at the annual meeting.
Each new membership shall receive an acknowledgment letter from the Friends, and once the Friends are established
as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit, will receive a tax-exempt donor certificate.
All financial donors will be acknowledged in the Friends’ Annual Report, on the Friends web site and in other related publications as appropriate.
